What we collect
Your phone number to sign you in, the name you choose, and the groups and expenses you log. We never ask for bank details and never connect to your bank or Aani account.
How we use it
To show your group its ledger, to text you a sign-in code, and for the reminders you switch on yourself. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Members of a group see the names, expenses and balances inside that group only. Your phone number is never shown to anyone.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Ask for deletion through the contact page and we remove your account and everything you logged within 30 days.
Hosting
Groupy runs on Amazon Web Services in the Middle East (UAE) region. Data is encrypted in transit.
